This was my very first airbrush and I love it. The price, the internals, the finish are all excellent. The trigger is starting to stick just a tiny bit. But hey for the newb, or the seasoned vet, this is just an awesome airbrush. TC graphics has THE BEST customer service of anywhere on the net. You just wont find any better service. I have a 2020 and it is an amazing brush the renegade is amazing as well but, it is not as finished as the Sotar 2020 is. It will do 95% of what a 2020 will. But the 5% percent make the 2020 better and magical. The 2020 is better in a lot of areas like hair lines, trigger feel, and comfort. The finger rest is on the 2020 amazing and should be on all badger airbrushes. I do like the weight and size of the renegade a lot. The finish isn't as refined as a 2020 but looks great. The cap should be metal! The best thing is the price and the spray quality it clean and the lines are hard and crisp it is prefect for any user! There are also very few airbrushes that have a really nice size and feel in my hand the over feel and weight is a great. The trigger stop is all so really well made and has really smooth action.The case is awesome and just the right thing for this airbrush. Over all it is one of the best airbrushes on the market for the price any thing better cost at less twice as much. The Renegade Velocity is a real winner. It produces wonderful fine lines and has the best paint atomization I have seen come out of an airbrush. It is easy to clean and the parts are easy to find and inexpensive. To top it off is is backed by a lifetime warranty. The Renegade series is the best value in the market. I have used the Velocity for about 2 months now. It sprays and atomizes awesomely. It feels great in my hand and I love the finish-Except on the trigger.Price Value Quality
The finish wore off the trigger where it rubs against the body after about 3 weeks. It now always feels kinda sticky no matter how much I clean and lube it.
Also, the plastic cup cap just is plain terrible, it doesn't want to stay in place now most of the time and I HATE it!! (Posted on 10/18/10) - Very nice! Review by Paul Stratt

I love this airbrush! It sprays amazingly smooth and it is very consistent - I am using Spectra-tex right from the bottle and I couldn't be happier. The only reason I gave it 4 stars for quality is because I wish it was chrome plated like most other airbrushes. I bought this airbrush a few weeks ago. I Love It!! It is a great tool. it is my second airbrush, my other is a Paasche VL and let me tell you this Velocity is by far a better airbrush. I just purchased one of these and I have to admit I was never impressed with anything from Badger but this velocity is very impressive. I can achieve very fine detail and it is very responsive.Price Value Quality
One thing that I do not like is the dark color of the airbrush - if you are using a darker color it makes it harder to get clean because it blends in - not a really huge deal. I'm just picky. I'm sure Badger saved money by not going with the chrome. But personally looks don't bother me, it is how it performs and this is one of my top airbrushes now. (Posted on 6/1/09)
